Hypnosis is actually very deep relaxation. It is that dreamy state you enter just before you drift off to sleep and again when you are just waking up, therefore you cannot get stuck in hypnosis. After you have had a hypnotherapy session, you will either wake up when the hypnotherapist tells you to. or you will drift off to sleep and wake up when you are ready to.
When you are in a state of hypnosis, your conscious mind (the part that makes all the immediate decisions and analyses everything is suppressed and your subconscious mind becomes alert. Your subconscious mind doesn't analyse things, so it accepts what the therapist says, and through repetition it can change your whole thoughts processes, influencing the way you think, the way you feel and the way you live your life.
By doing an online session, it means that I don’t need to be in the same room with you, as long as you can hear me clearly, you’ll be able to experience exactly the same benefits as you would with a face-to-face session with me and will work in exactly the same way.
